- Launched Local Lens, an online marketplace that connects travelers with professional vacation photographers in 200+ cities around the world. I directly oversee our SEO team and content marketing strategy.
- Devised the last 3 yearly SEO strategy plans. We tripled our yearly traffic in 2020 despite being a travel company during COVID-19 setbacks.
- I track the performance of existing initiatives, help identify new keyword opportunities with SEMrush, and generate monthly reports with Google Analytics & Data Studio.
- Appeared on Shark Tank in 2016 but did not accept the offer for 33% of the company.
Bell Helicopter – Nexus Air Taxi
Advanced Concepts & Integration
01/2018 – 06/2019
- Joined the Adv. Concepts & Integration design team for the Nexus Air Taxi program in partnership with Uber, Safran, Garmin, EPS, and Thales. The hybrid-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicle will be fully-autonomous and ducted-fan driven.
- Managed interface requirement models and zonal routing models to ensure a full relational design set within CATIA.
- Collaborated with Safran for hybrid electric power integration where I designed propulsion structures (firewalls, drip pan, engine mounts) and handled most of the harness routing.
Bell Helicopter – Innovation Team
Air Vehicle Integration Engineer
04/2016 – 01/2018
- Joined the Innovation Team, Bell’s core group of engineers that focuses on advanced and emerging technologies to figure out how to incorporate them into future products. My main project was advancing the High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) proof of concept to Technology Readiness Level 3.
- Worked in the areas of system integration and UAS autopilot development (C++) for a classified, unconventional aircraft. I was also part of the project’s subscale flight test team for 6 months.
- Created a custom C++ plugin for HyperSizer (stress analysis and sizing optimization software) designed to use Bell’s proprietary composite theory, which has now saved Bell millions of dollars in analysis time. I helped train multiple engineers which led the 505, V-247, and FARA programs to fully adopt it.

Accomplishments
- Named as an inventor on 6 patents which range from UAS design to aircraft control laws.
- Awarded a full-ride scholarship by the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) for a 2-year Master’s degree at TUM – Germany’s top engineering university and #25 in the world for engineering sciences in 2016.
- Presented start-up company, Local Lens, to top investors on the Shark Tank TV show in 2016.
- Completed a 6-week course led by Neil Patel: SEO & Traffic Generation.
- Joined my university’s Baja SAE team to design, build from scratch, test, and race an off-road vehicle. I was part of the suspension and drivetrain core team from Jan 2008 – May 2009. We ultimately won 2nd place at the 2009 international Baja SAE competition.
- Fully restored my grandfather’s 1966 Volkswagen Mayers Manx Buggy.
